Flavour Nabania, a popular Nigerian high life musician, shocked many of his fans when he decided to adopt a young visually impaired Liberian boy, Semah. Although he already had two daughters from two different women, people say it was his craving for a son that made him adopt the boy. Flavour never revealed the real reason he went out of the country to adopt a blind boy, but a Liberian fan said he had no intention of adopting a son until he met Semah, and discovered that he was blind.
According to fans, Semah has been a big fan of Flavour and sang most of his songs at events and bars. One day, while singing one of Flavour’s song, a woman approached him and asked what he wanted the most. Semah retorted that he wanted to see Flavour more than anything in the world.
The woman granted his request and arranged for a meeting with Flavour. Flavour immediately processing legal papers to adopt him, as soon as he saw him. And ever since he adopted Semah as his son, the young boy has been doing pretty well. He recently collaborated with Flavour to produce a song titled, “God, you are the most high.”
