BBNaija 2020: “My dad took 14 Governors to London to celebrate his 40th birthday” – Kiddwaya

During the wager task that saw Kiddwaya as the winner where the housemates made art pieces of their superheroes and had to tell the story behind the piece, Kiddwaya revealed that his dad flew 14 governors to London to celebrate his 40th birthday. His dad was his superhero and while sharing the story behind the art piece, he mentioned that one thing he loved about his father was his willingness to always help others whenever he sees a need.

Terry Waya is a Nigerian billionaire businessman, popularly known as Mr. Versace. He hails from Tiv, a region in the middle belt of Benue state, but is London based. When it comes to living a big boy lifestyle, Terry is a legendary as he spends prodigally. He has been seen to spend money lavishly on parties in London. Terry owns chains of businesses ranging from hospitality industry to oil industry. He tours the world for vacations.

Kiddwaya once told the housemates that his net worth was far greater than all the housemates put together. He told them that was why he goes about his own business, knowing fully well that he is worth more than them all outside the house. This is not supposed to be news, as he is the son of the billionaire, Terry Waya. He later had to apologize to them for being rude and boastful. During the wager task, Kidd explained that his story was more of happiness as he didn’t come from a poor background, unlike most of the housemates.

He, however, shocked us when he said he wasn’t too close with his dad. He revealed that most of the things he knew about his father were from other people close to him. He finds it difficult to have a long conversation with his dad. But, he couldn’t help but acknowledge that he owed his success to his dad for always being there for him, and working behind him to make sure he succeeds.

In his words, Kidd said,

I learnt more from people about my Dad. He’s the calm one. Growing up, things weren’t difficult, he’s stubborn, runs away from home to do business. He ran away when I was 16, came back when I was 19, and bought my mom a house, and they’re doing great. I don’t talk too much about my family, we’re strong people. We don’t show our emotions.

My dad took 14 governors to London for his birthday, and that caused him a lot of problems. He’s been a leader. He’s always connecting and looking after people. My dad makes people senators, governors, etc. I’m very lucky, privileged and I’m very grateful he’s been able to do a lot for me. I don’t show him appreciation enough, and if it wasn’t for him, I don’t know what I would have done. He’s a loyal man and would always have your back. A certain top rank man got arrested at the airport and he bailed him out, which got him into trouble too. That’s why I do what I do, to mold myself into being my Dad. I can’t say more to avoid trouble, most time I forget the cameras. When we are out of here, I’ll introduce you guys to him.

In other news, Dorathy Bachor, another housemate has revealed during her week 6 diary session about the housemate who is a distraction to her. Biggie’s question was for the housemates to tell him who is a distraction to them in the house, and Dorathy said hers was Brighto.

She then asked Biggie to advise her on what to do, since Brighto had made it known that he wasn’t on for a relationship in the house. Even at that, he seems to have been caught in between two ladies who have a thing for him. Wathoni recently told Tolanibaj and Vee about her feelings for Brighto, and they already told her to mind herself, as Wathoni had suspicions that Dorathy might have feelings for him too.

This has made it clear that you do not get to choose who falls in love with you. Despite the fact that Brighto already said he wasn’t in the house for a relationship, he still got himself caught between two beautiful ladies who couldn’t help themselves but fall in love with him. We hope he wouldn’t have to break his rule of ‘no relationship’ with one of them as the show continues.
