5 Foreign Music to Enjoy Your Sunday Afternoon

God created everyone, he doesn’t discriminate. No matter who you are, you are welcome into His presence. He is the God of all languages, all races, and all nations. On the last day, when we get before the throne of God, where we come from won’t matter. We would all be worshipping God with one voice.

Revelation 7:9 says ‘After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;’

As long as the song is coming from the heart of a sincere worshipper, no matter the language, God would dwell in the praise of such a person.

Last week, I gave a list of 5 Nigerian Songs you can listen to after service. Today, we are going to the foreign scene.

Ocean (Where Feet May Fail)

The song was recorded in 2013 by the Australian Worship group; Hillsong. It was written by Matt Crocker, and Salomon Ligthelm and sang by Taya Smith.
The song talks about how God is always a present help even when all seem to have gone wrong. It reminds and encourages the listeners not to give up on God no matter how dark things are.

Oceans was well received in the body of Christ, it spent a record of 61 non-consecutive weeks at No.1 on the Billboard Hot Christian Songs chart. It won many of the major categories at the 2014 GMA Dove Award. Oceans has been certified triple platinum in the USA.

The song was written by Matt Redman and Jonas Myrin, it is one of the songs in the 10,000 reasons album. The cover for the song has been done by many artists, but Kim Walker’s cover is exceptional.
